i can't wait to see if i've improved since last year, but i think i've gotten worse. i'm trying to work of references, but i still hate them

You have not gotten worse, Rachel. You still come in the top 3 in most, if not all, quiz meets. You are just warming up for the year. And no matter how you do, just have fun with it.

I agree with rachel! I despise refrences! They are so annoying..but i thang God I have improved so much!

i can't wait for tonight either. i hope the other team comes. i really worked on my references today and i got fourteen down. but what i do with my references is i space them appart, putting about 2 or 3 verses between them so that i can remember them by the verses around them. i think i've gotten better.

i also can't wait for the quiz meet tomorow!!!!! It's going to be AWESOME!!!!!! 12 teams!!! well, that means either four or five teams that we don't usually quiz with

and this is also pretty cool. i'm at school right now. i'm doing this during guided study (the half period after lunch when we do absolutely nothing and one of the times when i study) i'm glad the school computers don't block this site lol

Ithought u memorized all the verses? U said u got down 14? Im preety good at refrences since im a visual learner. As long as i can c it im good. I can remember where it was. maybe even the markings i made in the book! I am just not crazy about them.

i don't know the references well, that's what i mean. i know some of them because they are memorable verses like where certain verses in parables are or ones that stand out to me. but memorizing to me is different than memorizing for you.

what i meant when i said i was memorizing the references is just that, i'm memorizing the references for the verses that i havn't got
